1. Send only with permission
Use contact information only for the purpose for which people opted in. Clearly identify your business, give an easy opt-out and respect opt-outs, blocks and complaints promptly. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, use purchased or scraped contact lists as proof of consent, or collect information you are not entitled to use.
2. Honest content and lawful offers
Do not impersonate Meta or another business, make false claims, harass recipients, use malicious links or request passwords, full card numbers, financial-account numbers or identity documents in WhatsApp messages. Do not facilitate unlawful activity or promote items restricted by the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or Meta Commerce Policies. Regulated categories may be permitted only under explicit platform, geographic and legal conditions.
3. Platform and privacy duties
Use approved templates when required, maintain accurate business and customer-support information, and provide the necessary privacy notice and consents. Do not bypass messaging limits, evade enforcement or use unofficial sending methods. Comply with applicable advertising, consumer-protection and data-protection laws. Refer to our Privacy Policy and WhatsApp Banning Policy.
4. Response to misuse
We may refuse onboarding, pause assistance or end a separately agreed service where there is credible abuse or noncompliance, subject to any signed agreement and applicable law. WhatsApp/Meta separately controls its own account and messaging enforcement; we cannot promise continued platform access.
